Located in the heart of Dubai Media & Internet City, Grand Plaza is a 5-star hotel, offering a great experience for both business and leisure travelers. Grand Plaza hotel caters for 235 sophisticated rooms and suites, features a Ballroom, a Spa, three restaurants, lounges and bars. The hotel is best known for its elegant and spacious rooms & suites, the state-of-the-art Convention Centre with Meeting Rooms and a 600 sqm Ballroom and the TWENTY THREE Rooftop bar with breathtaking views of The Palm Jumeirah and The Arabian Gulf.
Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City offers an exquisite and diverse gastronomy across five restaurants, bars and lounges. From live food stations to classic cocktails surrounded by stunning views, guests can experience Grand Delicacies under the majestic hand-blown glass chandelier at the Grand Lounge, live cooking stations at Slice – The Neighborhood Deli, a Healthy & Refreshing Menu by the pool or Aperitif time at Bytes and an affordable upmarket chic experience at TWENTY THREE Rooftop Bar.
The glass sculpture is inspired by the fast and focused flight of birds, and also by the hotel itself. The Mövenpick brand has a seagull in its logo and LASVIT managed to capture the essence of its flight over a sea shore into a glass sculpture. Hence its name Swoop.
neoalpha global has carried out the conceptualization, design development and site supervision of the overall FOH architectural lighting. The overall design scope included lighting design for the external landscape, external facade and interior spaces.
