St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, offers a new benchmark of luxurious hospitality for Abu Dhabi comprising of 380 hotel rooms, 33 villas, 259 apartments, retails outlets, restaurants, a spa, and a vast ballroom overlooking a pristine beach, the cerulean Arabian Gulf and the celebrated Saadiyat Beach Golf Club. This 5-star destination resort presents a serene escape and captivating wildlife just minutes from downtown Abu Dhabi. Boasting the island’s preeminent address, resort guests can rejuvenate at Iridium Spa, energize in the luxury indoor lap pool or three outdoor pools, or bask on the private Abu Dhabi beach before dining seaside at one of six destination restaurants and bars. Mediterranean-inspired architecture unites with contemporary interiors and tactile natural materials in the refined hotel rooms and suites, making this 5-star hotel in Abu Dhabi the ultimate luxury getaway.

The St Regis Saadiyat Island’s rooms are decorated in a Mediterranean style giving it a real seaside flavour, with lots of turquoise and earthy colours. The spacious bedrooms, filled with daylight, are at least 55 square metres in size with large balconies. The hotel is traditional yet contemporary in design with high ceilings and beautiful views of the gulf. The hotel has a range of restaurants such as the relaxed seafood offering Turquoiz, which is located on the beach, as well as a number of lounges including the Drawing Room where the famous St Regis afternoon tea is served.

The hotel’s contemporary chandeliers create a lasting impression as they welcome guests into this oasis of perfect peace and tranquility. PRECIOSA Lighting partnered with Atlanta based design studio HBA which outlined fixtures representing the elements of water, earth, fire, and air. They had to be able to send visitors on a journey of serenity, lightness, and warmth as they move through the hotel’s spaces. The breathtaking entrance lobby piece, inspired by the sun and the sea, is made of hand-blown tendrils combined with fiber optics and crystal pearls, which together create the illusion of gently falling water droplets.
